Why should we care??

So I just saw that Mr Obama has reiterated his promise to abolish the don't ask don't tell policy and allow openly gay people to join and serve in the military. Why does it matter? I do not understand why the gay community is in such a big fuss over this. Personally, I don't want to know if they are gay or not, it's not any of my business and frankly...I DON'T CARE ABOUT WHAT THEY DO IN PRIVATE!!!! What I do care about is good order and discipline in the ranks. Now don't get me wrong, I am not saying in anyway that an openly gay person would be any less disciplined than any other soldier. What I am saying is that there are places in the military where there are NO PRIVATE SHOWER facilities and many people, including myself, will not feel comfortable being naked in the same room with another person of the same sex that is openly gay.

That alone will cause problems with moral, discipline and structure within the military. How? Well for one, that person will be taking showers by themselves for the most part because I do not know a single straight person that will take a shower and put themselves in a position of having to be naked in the same room as an openly gay male. this is not a discrimination thing, it is a comfort thing for the vast majority of the military males serving today. And if the powers that be tried to force the ranks to do so there would be so many IG complaints of reverse discrimination and infringing upon one groups right to privacy in order to conform to another groups desire that the backlash would be devastating to the military, starting with a MASS EXODUS of men and women leaving the military.

If you are gay, join the military if you want to, keep your sexual preferences to yourself and behind closed doors. I would not show up and talk about which girl I spent the weekend with or discuss those PRIVATE MATTERS with the people that I work with. Nor would I show any PUBLIC DISPLAY OF AFFECTION to any girl, including my wife, while in uniform.

What your sexual preference is is your business. Frankly, I don't care if you keep a harem of goats in your basement as long as i dont have to see it or be forced to be around it. Keep it to yourself and be HUMBLE and PRIVATE about your personal affairs. Why is it so important that you tell the world that you are gay and I have to accept it graciously and if i do not agree with you them I am a bigot?

That is like just this past week. I had a guy that I have known for 2 years say some things to me that shocked and offended me. We had a bit of a falling out about 3 months ago and for the last 2 months I have been trying to mend those fences. He is a black male 1LT and I am an American Indian Warrant Officer. Finally after 2 months of trying, he sat down at my table and we started to have a conversation. Now I have know that he is a liberal and he knows I am a conservative. the conversation turned to Mr Obama and I told him that there is an article that he should read. It is written by a guy that went to see Charles Krauthammer Speak about Mr Obama. In this speach Mr Krauthammer says that you need to watch what Mr Obama does and do not listen to what he says because he is saying what the masses want to hear but is doing what he wants. He also says that Mr Obama is an egotistical narsasist that thinks he is the ruler of the world.

Well after my former friend read that article he wrote me an email and said "YOU AND EVERYONE THAT THINKS LIKE YOU JUST CANT STAND THAT THERE IS A BLACK MAN IN THE WHITEHOUSE BECAUSE ALL YOU WANT IS SOME RICH, WHITE, LAND OWNER THAT HAS BEEN THE STATUS QUOE."

I wrote back to him and said that I really didn't care if the guy is green, i don't agree with his policies. for him to say something like that made him sound like Louis Farrakahn or Malcom X and that that kind of thinking only perpetuates the hate of the past instead of working toward the future. I also told him that I was offended that after 2 years he didnt know me at all. His response to me on that was to say that the fact that I was offended only proves that I am a racisit.

He further went on to say that the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States are irrelevant documents that are dated and don't matter anymore. And that the Military was pork barrel spending and unnecessary.

All because I disagree with raising my taxes to pay for a health care bill that is going to allow someone who doesn't want to work or take care of their own body to get a heart valve replacment yet take away from my 67 year old mothers MediCare insurance to help pay for it. Mean while they tell my mom that her heart problem isn't as bad as it was before the current administration took office. I dont understand how last December they told her that it was imperative that she get this procedure done and in February it is no longer important. Welcome to what OBAMACARE is going to be like folks.

Now he wants to allow those that march in the gay pride rallies wearing diapers and caring sex toys to come into the military and he honestly thinks that there will not be problems??? He said right before the election night "WE ARE 5 DAYS AWAY FROM FUNDAMENTALLY CHANGING THIS COUNTRY" and he absolutely meant that! We are in real trouble folks and its going to be another year before we can vote out the liberals in congress and get some conservative responsible people back into the positions that can represent us.

I urge you to start asking questions now and make sure that the left partisans in our state get voted out. We need to show the rest of the country that we refuse to go down that road with them. We need to show them that we disagree with them and we need to force our politicains to listen to us and not the lobbyists. we elected them not the lobbyists. We need to raise our voices and be heard as conservatives so that the rest of the conservatives across the country can have an example to look to and do the same thing.

We are TEXANS and we have been fighting for freedom since before the ALAMO!! Do you guys remember your history about that? I hope so. The part that I hope you remember the most is when William B. Travis draws a line in the sand and says

"Those who will stand with me step across and be counted as men!!"

It is time for that line to be drawn again!! We must defend what we beleive in or live with the consequences of our inaction!! We must fight agianst the hijacking of our rights that our forefathers fought and died to preserve for us and all of our generations to come. It is our DUTY, our RESPONSIBILITY to take back what is being stolen from us piece by piece everytime there is a vote in Congress. If we do not act now there is going to come a day very soon when we no longer have the power to act without being branded as criminals and traitors. Do not vote along party lines!!! The two party sytem is broken, it is a criminal organization on both sides!! vote for those that beleive in the power of the people, all of the people!! If we have to there are ways to use the legislation in our constitution to protect our Freedoms from the tyranny of the Federal government. It was written that way on purpose.

WE as Americans have a responsibility to our fathers and grandfathers and great grand fathers to protect what they lived and breathed for and to preserve it for our children and grand children and great grand children so that they know that it is their responsibility to do the same and hold the government accountable to the people not the other way around!! If the rest of America's conservatives are unwilling to stand with us then we as TEXANS must stand alone AGAIN!!! The time for action is here and we must make our voices heard before the government tries to silence us for good!!!
